Buleleng (Kabaribali) – The Yowana Pasemetonan Sri Karang Buncing of Buleleng Regency, in collaboration with a member of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR RI), held a Socialization of the Four Pillars event entitled “The Active Role of the Young Generation of Sri Karang Buncing in Development, by Practicing the Values of Nationalism and Unity to Strengthen Brotherhood Bonds.” The event took place at Edie Arta Bar & Resto, Bungkulan Village, Sawan District, Buleleng Regency, on Monday (15/12/2025).

The Four Pillars Socialization featured Tutik Kusuma Wardhani, S.E., M.M., M.Kes., a member of the MPR RI from the Democratic Party faction, as the keynote speaker. Around 200 Yowana members, along with the management of Pasemetonan Sri Karang Buncing (P2SKB) of Buleleng Regency, attended the event. This national seminar was moderated by Ketut Pujayasa, Secretary General of the Pasemetonan Sri Karang Buncing (P2SKB) of Buleleng Regency.

The event began with opening remarks from Gde Komang, Chairman of the Pasemetonan Sri Karang Buncing (P2SKB) of Buleleng Regency. In his speech, he expressed great pride in being able to present a speaker from the MPR RI, noting that the theme was closely related to the role of the younger generation in applying the values of nationalism and unity to strengthen bonds of brotherhood (pasemetonan). As chairman, he also expressed his gratitude to the young generation (Yowana) who worked tirelessly to make the event possible and bring in a high-quality speaker. He hoped that in the future the organization would continue to present other distinguished speakers to further nurture the spirit of unity within the pasemetonan in the life of the nation and the state, in line with the ancestral spirit of the great Mahapatih Kebo Iwa.

In delivering her presentation on national values, MPR RI member Tutik Kusuma Wardhani, S.E., M.M., M.Kes., emphasized the importance of the Four Pillars of National Life: Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity). These four pillars, she explained, are essential prerequisites for the Indonesian nation to stand firm and achieve progress based on its own national character and identity. The Four Pillars serve as the main supporting columns of the Indonesian state, providing a sense of security and stability in national life. Every nation in the world has its own national outlook, and for Indonesia, this national outlook reflects the attitudes and personality of the Indonesian people.

Affectionately known as Bunda Tutik, she added that love for the homeland, upholding unity and integrity, and a strong sense of togetherness are the fundamental capital for building Indonesia toward a better future. Therefore, as part of the Indonesian nation, members of the Pasemetonan Sri Karang Buncing of Buleleng Regency are obliged to practice the Four Pillars in their daily lives. In this way, the spirit of unity and patriotism can grow from the grassroots level of society, starting within the dadia and paiketan pasemetonan, which in Bali are referred to as soroh.

Pasemetonan Sri Karang Buncing has its ancestral temple (Pura Kawitan) located in Blahbatuh Village, Gianyar Regency, known as Pura Sri Karang Buncing Mahapatih Bali Kebo Iwa. Sri Karang Buncing traces its lineage to this ancestry. Mahapatih Kebo Iwa was a high minister during the ancient Bali period under the reign of King Sri Astasura Ratna Bumi Banten, whose power center was in Bedahulu, Gianyar, and is estimated to have ruled around the year 1332. Kebo Iwa remains a role model for the Pasemetonan Sri Karang Buncing today, as he was willing to sacrifice himself for the unity of the Nusantara. Members of PSKB are spread across Buleleng, totaling approximately 1,800 households.
